Trick or Treating on Saturday October 31, 2020
from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M.
State of Emergency Declaration
The Village of Fredonia municipal water is SAFE to drink and use. There is NO Boil Water Advisory issued by the CCDOH. The continuation is merely an extension of the previous State of Emergency. It allows us to efficiently and effectively move forward in the replacement, repair, and construction of infrastructure to provide residents with safe drinking water, while combating the unstable nature of the production of potable water while maintaining acceptable turbidity limits.
The Village of Fredonia hereby extends a local State of Emergency effective Sunday October 11, 2020.
This extension of the local state of emergency has been declared due to the unstable nature of the production of potable water while maintaining acceptable turbidity limits. This extension of the declaration is by the recommendation of the Chautauqua County Department of Health.
In coordination with other government agencies, this proactive action is taken to protect the general public and to provide safe drinking water to the community.

This State of Emergency will remain in effect for a period not to exceed 30 days or until rescinded, whichever occurs first. This order may be extended for an additional period not to exceed 30 days.

Essek exercise the authority given to me under Article 2-B, Section 24 of the New York State Executive Law, for the purpose of procuring goods and services, and to render all required and available assistance that is vital to the security, well-being, and health and safety of the citizens of the Village of Fredonia.
